Circuits for broadcasters · Since 2009

The circuits behind your STL were installed once and billed forever.

We source and reprice connectivity for radio and TV station groups: studio-transmitter links, remote lines, transmitter-site backup, studio internet and the office phones — and the copper the carriers are retiring underneath all of it. Many groups we look at haven't had a circuit repriced since it was installed.

The review is free, there's no obligation to switch anything, and you're never invoiced by us.

From our clients

In their words.

I don't have time to shop for suppliers. I sent Kent the bills, he came back with the numbers, and we switched. That was it — I never dealt with a salesperson.

— Errick Highbaugh, Director, United Suppliers

Kent handled our energy contracts for years. When something on a bill didn't look right, we called him, not the supplier. He's straightforward and he doesn't oversell.

— Kylie Sale, Resource Management Specialist, Whole Foods Market

The copper at the transmitter site

A line nobody will fix is off-air risk, not a line item.

Tower-site alarm lines, remote-control lines and old point-to-point circuits usually still run on copper. The carriers are retiring it, aren't in a hurry to repair it, and reprice it on the way out.

Retiring copper at the tower

Remote-control and alarm lines on copper get slower to repair and pricier over time. We plan the replacement before an outage forces it.

Backup that's affordable now

Fixed wireless and satellite backup at the transmitter site have become inexpensive, and many groups don't have either yet.

IP-based STL options

IP-based STL and remote-pickup options have matured to the point where the legacy circuit is often the most expensive and least reliable thing on the bill.

Services

Telecom first. Energy too.

Broadcast circuits are our focus. Station groups also carry electric and gas accounts at every studio and site, so we cover energy too.

Telecom

Studio, STL and transmitter site

We audit every circuit, source replacements and backup, and coordinate the cutover with your engineer so nothing goes dark.

  • Studio internet & fiber — dedicated internet for studios and offices.
  • STL & point-to-point — legacy circuits repriced or replaced with IP-based options.
  • Transmitter-site backup — fixed wireless, satellite or cellular.
  • Voice — office phones and lines that survive a copper retirement.
  • Managed cutover — coordinated with your engineer and the supplier.
Also on the energy side

Electric and natural gas supply

The same team also sources and audits energy supply for multi-site operators — same findings-first approach, one point of contact for both bills.

  • Electric supply procurement — competitive supply offers compared side by side, where your markets allow it.
  • Natural gas supply — fixed and index structures matched to your usage.
  • Energy bill audits — rates, riders and charges checked against your agreement.
  • Renewals — end dates tracked so nothing auto-renews unreviewed.

Who we work with

Built to work with your IT, finance and procurement teams.

CTO & IT, CFO & controller, procurement: we work directly with the people who own the decisions and give each of them what they need to sign off with confidence.

For IT

Clear options on bandwidth, redundancy and voice, a single contact for install and cutover coordination, and someone to escalate to when a carrier falls short.

CFOControllerAP & finance

For finance

Plain-language findings on every bill, side-by-side offers, contract end dates you can plan around, and billing disputes worked through to a resolution.

ProcurementBuyersSourcing

For procurement

Specialist telecom and energy support inside your sourcing process: comparable offers, contract detail and bill audits, with the legwork handled for you.

Working with procurement

We've worked side by side with companies' procurement teams.

An in-house procurement team is a reason to work with us, not a reason to skip us. Your buyers own the process, the supplier relationships and the final decision. We add the telecom and energy depth that's hard to carry alongside every other category they manage — and we take the legwork off their desk.

We work inside your process: your sourcing steps, approval chain and vendor requirements.

Specialist market knowledge

Telecom and energy are what we work on every day — how carriers and suppliers price, how contracts are structured, and what's changing, like copper retirements and shifts in supply markets.

Carrier & supplier leverage

We work across many carriers and suppliers and know where there's room to negotiate, so your team goes to the table with comparable offers and a stronger position.

Bill-audit depth

Line-by-line review of circuits, lines, meters, rates and riders — detail that's hard to reach when you're buying across every category.

An easier job for your team

We gather quotes, lay them out side by side, chase credits and track renewal dates. Your team stays in control; we make the job easier.

Independent advisor

On your side of the table.

We aren't a carrier or an energy supplier, and we don't represent just one. We compare the market for you, recommend what fits, and stay accountable for how it works after you sign.

How we work

A simple, low-effort process.

You share the bills. We do the legwork and come back with findings, not a sales pitch.

Send a bill

Upload one recent telecom bill from any station below, or forward it to [email protected] — a phone photo of the first page is fine.

We review it

Within a few days you get plain-language findings: what's out of contract, what's on retiring copper, and what the same circuits run today.

You decide

If nothing's worth changing, we say so. If something is, we handle sourcing, negotiation, paperwork and the install.

We stay your contact

Disputes, audits, new locations and renewals come to us — for as long as you're a client.

No-cost bill review

One bill. A few days. A clear answer.

Forward a recent telecom bill — or tell us about the sites — and we'll review it at no cost: every circuit, its contract status and what the same service costs today. No obligation.

  • Telecom bills first — energy bills welcome too
  • Plain-language findings, not a sales pitch
  • If nothing needs changing, we'll say so
